Chrono from Chrono Crusade. Chrono was found underground, starving and weak, protecting the body of his love, Magdalene. Rosette and her brother Joshua befriend Chrono and convince him to come stay with them.

Chrono had once helped another demon named Aion in a war and was asked to kill many people. Eventually, he was asked to kill his lover. Only then did her refuse, betray Aion and lose a fight against him, losing his horns in the process. They are later used by Aion to control Joshua. Because of this, he cannot get the energy he normally would to survive. Rosette agreed to make a contract with him in which he feeds off her soul as an alternative. The necklace he wears is then worn by her.

This is how he looks when they first befriend him. His true form is much larger and looks more adult-like. Once he becomes Rosette's assistant, she braids his hair and gives him a new outfit to wear.

The end of the series shows Rosette and Chrono on a bench together holding hands and leaning on each other. They died together. She could not keep going with the contract for she was too weak, and without her soul, his wounds would not heal.
