Artist's Comments

Koga, the prince of the western wolf demon tribe. His name roughly translates to Steel Fang. Most of his followers were slaughtered after being tricked by Kagura. He is left with two friends, Ginta and Hakaku, as well as a few actual wolves. He is a very flirtatious man, partially because a wolf claims it's mate and that's what he tries to do to Kagome. As a result, he's a constant rival of Inuyasha. He had three jewel shards, one in each leg and one in his right arm. The one in his arm was taken by a bird demon which is where the scar originated from. That shard was later stolen by Inuyasha. The other two were stolen by Kagura.

Yeah, in reality eyes are normally my biggest catch. Especially if they contrast well with hair. ex.Ice blue eyes and dark hair.

The one in his arm is first to go. Shortly after he meets Kagome he wants her to help him fight the Birds of Paradise demons. At one point he goes to stab one, it bites his arm and swallows the jewel which it dug out, which is why he's got the scar. Inuyasha keeps it later. Kagura gives him another one but it's fake which makes it poisoned and Kagome has to get it out.

The ones in his legs he loses while fighting Kagura. She makes a whole bunch of skeletons come at him and while he's trying to evade them she uses her fan to send two blades of wind at him. One hits each leg and slices the shards out.
